Just come back from a great guided pike fishing trip with Steve on the river Bure, the third time, and once again he put me onto the Pike. I had 10 takes 2 dropped the bait and 2 got off near the net. The 6 landed were between 3 - 14lb I can't wait to go back, all the tackle and bait is supplied you just have bring any food and drink that you want. Great location and company!

Just got back from a guided pike fishing trip with Budgie. What a day with weather in build up being storm Babet and plenty of extra water was expecting near impossible day, but Budgie used all his knowledge and provided a day to remember. My son catching his first every pike followed by 7 more Budgie provide plenty of useful information and taught my lad how to handle pike with confidence. In total 10 pike all good quality fish landed 2 lost near the net. 2 dropped runs. With great conversation the day flew by. Thanks

Heard about this place from another angler. Visited it on a Sunday and cannot rate it highly enough. I asked about the rig for small lures and the owner (Budgie) showed me how to fish with small lures by demonstrating the rig in the moorings at the back of the shop! That is service! Bought some lures and jig heads and on Wednesday went fishing and caught a dozen small perch. Will be back to get more gear!

Superb customer service. I called prior to ordering to check the stock status of a particular rod, the member of staff couldn't have been more genuinely interested in helping me. Such a friendly store. I took my new enthusiastic fisher (10 years old) there and asked loads of stupid questions. The guy showed us how things work, gave us a plummet and wouldn't let us pay.

Terrible, would never return. Shop owner refused to sell us anypike fishing gear "because he said so". So we took our money and went to angling direct, and guess what, I went out on my boat that evening and landed 2 pike, they were safely returned to the river, unharmed. I guess if I'd have walked in his shop with all my camo gear on he might have thought " this bloke looks like an angler, I'll serve him". Never judge a book by its cover mr shop owner. Anyway I've told everyone i fish with about my experience at this shop and I'm not the only one who left wondering "what's his problem?"
