I’ve just bought an EGO mower, by phone, along with some other tools and have been absolutely blown away by the excellent level of service offered by James Holden. The price of the kit is by far the most competitive I could find anywhere on the internet (and I looked at a huge number of sites!).

James could not have been more helpful, phoning back to make sure the next day delivery had been completed (it had) and then checking in again to make sure I had received paperwork.

This is what service should be like but often isn’t in my experience. Well done Holden’s!

As for the EGO tools, well they are just amazing, easily outperforming my old petrol mower.

Rented an EFCO Tuareg earlier this year to deal with paddock (3 acres) grass maintenance. James Holden was very helpful in renting (sort of trial) a Tuareg and subsequently in supplying an end of season machine for purchase. He fabricated a ball tow hitch as an extra – very neat and sturdy.
Excellent customer service and value for money – very impressed, will certainly be a repeat customer.

Just bought a cordless, battery EGO mower from Holdens on the demise of my ancient mower.
1st class, no nonsense advice that made the decision really easy, the features of the mower were well expalined by the sales assistant and within minutes I was away with a new mower that is easy to use, being cordless and power assisted, and cuts the grass well.
All that's great, just had a look on Amazon, same mower is another £120! So Holdens live up to their best prices statement.
Thanks very much, I will be back when the next bit of kit packs up.

I cannot recommend this firm enough. I phoned them to book a service but was informed they had a five week turn around. However, they invited me to pop in the next day to look at the job and book it in. I did this and within twenty minutes they had replaced a handle and a cable there and then!!👏👏👍👍Helpful, friendly and professional. Excellent 👌 Thank you everyone at Holdens- good old fashioned customer service 🙏🙏

Such a great shop and hire centre.i came up from my mums near Wallingford to hire the overseeder and collect as there are not many places that hire overseeders.it was well worth the journey.excellent machine and the staff are so friendly and helpful there it almost has an old fashioned personal touch to it not many places like this these days.it I lived nearer I’d go there for all my mower parts and sundries.

I have been looking for an Efco Tuareg for some time. I came across Holden Garden Machinery on line and contacted them. From dealing with James Holden over the last 3 weeks I can say I am totally impressed. Proper old school customer service. Keeping me up to date with my order, sorting delivery, I’m over an hour away and a great price. Also a massive thanks to James who delivered it. A real genuine nice guy.
