Must say I found my latest visit to stockport surprising. A step away from the main city centre, with shops and everything, you have this relaxing, peaceful pocket of the town that stuck in time for its 19th century architecture and slow pace charm. On the sunny summer days, this is a welcome change from the busy city life

Love Stockport wanted an eye test so went round a few avoiding the Specsavers etc, found this little gem called 2020 optics GR8 place and had my fav Oakley's in well happy.

Used to be very popular. Since Co Vid many places closed. But slowly making a come back. New shops and stores are making it more appealing.

Glad to see the centre is becoming a new green place to visit. Love the bus exchange with its clear signs etc.
Love the greenery and seating places to relax with lunch outside.
Love the new shops appearing.
Great new space too outside railway station.

Enjoyed our walk around here. Nov 21 they were just getting Christmas Market stalls and attractions put in place. Plenty to see and do carpark was a bit confusing for getting out as most of it was closed off. Overall good.
