Very highly recommended, my wife went down on her own to see some of the cars for sale, Leon give his opinions on a few different models we was interested in, upgrading from a Freelander 2. My wife was allowed to view and test drive any of the cars and was not hassled or pressurised in anyway.
I spoke with Leon on the Monday following my wife’s visit on the Saturday, paid for the car what we chose, and was advised later in the day that would be ready for collection the day after.
When we went to collect, Leon was very helpful with sorting out all the paperwork, showing myself around the car, pointing out any hints/tips and explaining how all the controls etc work.
A very good feeling about this business, and when the service is due on our new purchase, we will certainly be returning to have Leon and the team conduct.

Avoid. Drove a 550 mile round trip to collect a car that has nothing but trouble and the only way to get it sorted is drive another 550 mile round trip to fix it.
Sorted out several problems already myself to avoid driving the distance again and now found other issues that were supposed to be fixed. Supposed to have new brake pads and discs. Not happened as they are already sqeaking!!
Gearbox fault 2 days after picking it up. "Bring it back to see what's wrong with it."
Car was washed 20 mins before I arrived yet had dry bird crap on from days before! Boot leaks. Brakes squeak. Cowboy company. Just like the company who put me on to them. Money grabbers. Don't waste your time or money.

Purchased a Range Rover sport from Leon and Natalie. First they gave me a very fair price on my part exchange, within the first six months I had two faults come up which they dealt with both times under warranty with no quibble. I even offered to pay for them because the service I received was first class but they wouldn’t accept. I’ve been back since and had the car serviced by them and despite the fact they’re over an hour from home I will not go anywhere else, for my servicing or next purchase.

I visited Blackdown 4x4 to discuss some issues I was having with my Discovery. In the end I decided to trade it in against a newer one that they had for sale. I was very happy with the price they paid me for mine, and the car I purchased was extremely well presented. Not only that it came with a new MOT, service, as well as some additional bits which they went out of their way to do for me. I even had a query post sale, and Leon was happy to discuss it with me - not to mention listen to me drone on for over an hour before buying the car! I highly recommend Blackdown 4x4.

Went to this garage to get my Land Rover looked at, we just had repairs done and it was leaking a little bit. I was told that I needed a new transmission for £5000 as it was damaged according to their computer. The vehicle only has 50k miles on it and the transmission seemed fine to me and my family. After discussion they agreed
Maybe an oil change would suffice, I agreed they said it would be £400 pounds. This seems pricey after they charged me 300 to do basically nothing prior. Well when I went to pick it up they charged me £720 for the oil change, outrageous. I was furious. They laughed and said if I wanted work on the vehicle I have to pay them to do the work?!? Very rude.

Fast forward a week later the car was leaking oil everywhere and staining the asphalt. I immediately drove the Land Rover to another shop and after in depth inspection the mechanics found that the drain plug was set loose and they fixed it in 5 minutes for no fee. The mechanics inspected the car thoroughly and no work was necessary. This is after I was almost charged £5000 for a new transmission.

The transmission is perfectly fine, and I wasted £1000 pounds with this company and a significant amount of my time. The work they did was completely unnecessary. Please be weary as this looks like a common issue at this garage.
