If I could leave no stars I would, I ordered a new cooker I was given a 2 hour time slots they turned up early or didn’t ring the bell when hubby rung they lied and said they arrived at the designated time when they didn’t !!! Next delivery available not for another 2 weeks I cancelled my order got my money back went to Wollacotts got it delivered same day and on time !! I won’t be using Argos again !

Horrible company that doesn't care about their customers.

Order was placed on the 1st of September, with delivery set for the 28th. 4 days before supposed delivery date a message comes saying "sorry your order will be delivered on the 12th of October". With ONLY 4 days of notice, when confronted, Argos, as expected and as I've grown accustomed to, shunned the blame on a different company that has nothing to do with Argos' shortcomings. It's their duty to tell me AHEAD OF TIME when your "supplier" "messes up", so maybe I can cancel my day off from work and not have to sit at home doing nothing. Off topic, I would like to hear Argos' reaction to when a customer would call them up every month saying they can't pay their credit for their item...

Secondly, they won't even compensate me for having to miss out not one, but two days where I am supposed to be working, so not only am I not getting my product delivered that I need ASAP, which by the way is a necessity, a refrigerator, I am also missing out on earning money twice because of the downright embarrassing administration of this company.

Never, ever buy products from Argos unless you're not working and can stay at home 24/7 for the next two months, maybe more, because I will be surprised if the next delivery comes as intended, knowing the ability of Argos and the people they employ to mess seemingly easy things up.

Horrible people, horrible company, do yourself justice, and if you want to buy a product that they have to deliver to you, look for a company that sells the same thing as most likely you will find it cheaper, and if not, do pay that couple of quid extra because if you buy it from someone else, at least, you will be sure you'll delivery will come on time as specified.

This Argos had what I wanted, staff very helpful & afriendly service. Catalogue books, touch screens available to search for what you want. Quick pay stations available as well. A good Large carpark & easy to get to, just off the A30.

Bought a DVD writer, supposed to work with Mac and it doesn't. I took it back but told I cannot return it to the store I bought it from because of "Covid". However, I can return it to Bude, 17 miles away, no problem at all. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. You buy something from a shop, it doesn't work, you should able to return it to that shop. Companies like Argos are making people take unnecessary journeys because of "Covid". Absolute joke of a company policy and does not help at all with the lockdown situation and laws. Other option their support gave me was to "wait until the end of lockdown". From now on I will just order from Amazon because they have a really good returns policy that allows you to send back an item without a problem. Argos want to keep my money until the end of lockdown, that is not going to happen, I will do a chargeback.

Big shout out to the staff at Argos, Launceston - friendly, courteous and exceptional customer service.
Add in great products at competitive prices and you have a far better buying experience than the well-known online auction site.
