If you want to start shopping local for great meat and vegetables and more, then shop here. Produce fresh from the market. Lovely friendly butchers. Excellent stock of wine at reasonable prices. You can reduce packaging, reduce plastic packaging, shop quicker and get food that actually tastes of something. Give it a try.

Everything a good village shop should be and more. Run by a local family who are always keen to be involved with village life and support local events. The butchery is first class and people come from miles around to shop there. They stock a broad range of well chosen groceries, and the fresh fruit and veg they buy in regularly from market is excellent.
The Shop is one of those things that make Sherfield such a lovely place to live.

Lovely staff, well stocked local village shop. Has a great butchers section with high quality meat. Extremely rare to find a local butcher these days outside of a major chain. Burgers are great !!

Super little, friendly, densely-packed shop of loveliness. Not overpriced, either. And of course opens later than bigger shops on a Sunday. Don't miss the great butcher's counter at the back. Nor the high-quality produce out front. And it stocks products from Christmas Bakery (which is nice).
