Holloway Road Underground Station is served by the Piccadilly the station in based on the main busy road which is opposite the university and the also five minutes from the Emirates Stadium. On events day when Arsenal play the station is extremely busy the station entrance is very small and inside the ticket hall area is also small with just six ticket barriers to use. There is lifts available at this station one of which is currently not working. Also there is 62 steps from the ticket hall to the platforms. Its a basic underground station which was clean and tidy.

Feb 16, station has been closed because of an Arsenal game. No info on TfL site, or Google or anything. Just go and see if you can enter the station. I think you could do better than this especially since Piccadilly Line does go to Heathrow. Utterly disappointing.

What's wrong with the staff. Been waiting for the train for over 15 minutes. The board originally stated the train will come in 3 minutes. It's not showing any times at all.. Staff are supported to use their job description to explain to customers about any delays. No sign of anyone or any announcement at all!. An announcement ahs just come. 'Please report any unattended items to a member of staff'.

Terrible service.

Update. Two minute after posting, an announcement has come that the train will arrive in two minutes. If there is no further update from me below, count as that the train finally arrived-probably be full anyway.

Good location in relation to the Emirates Stadium (around a 3 minute walk across the central roundabout) and quick links into the rest of london via Piccadilly Line. A good few shops are also nearby. There's a small ticket hall and staff to help but nothing much else. There is quite a long spiral staircase (~96 steps) so better to hop into the (ancient) lift to save yourself the trek up or down!

The location is fantastic if you’re a London Met student as it’s right outside the uni so a direct link however I find the station to be small, one of the lifts is always out of order, the other one takes forever to move, spiral stairs are a bit dangerous but apart from that it’s okay and I like the original features

Served by the Piccadilly line, it has plenty of character left in the Victorian ticket office.
