3 weeks ago we tried this cafe for its fish and chips. When we got home the chips went in the bin they were disgusting more black bits then chips.. Trying the fish and chips again today to see if they are any better..

The fish and chips tonight was the very worst we have ever had! It was all cooked through, but everything was so soggy. The fish batter and the chips. I soaked up the fat with kitchen roll, but it was still very wet and soggy. It went in the bin! We live too far away to take back and complain. Never again! Waste of money! You need to buck up and provide a good meal.

Chips are undercooked and fish wasn't appealing not the best we have had far better from here in recent years definitely not as good the past few times we have been here.

Just had 2 takeaway filled rolls, bread bap was very nice & fresh, but the filling was extremely poor , thin spread of egg mayo 2 slices of tomato, 2 slices of cucumber....no seasoning. Would I recommend to a friend...sadly no disappointing roll.

A twenty five minute wait when only two people in the shop. Chips were dry and VERY brown as was the fish, it left you with the distinct impression that they were left over from lunchtime. Truly the worst I’ve ever had. I’ll stick to Bideford in future. Extremely disappointed as it was our favourite fish and chip shop.
