As a foreigner (Canada) looking in, it's a wonderful collection. There is a good variety of new and second hand stock and as someone whose into collecting the older Triang/Dublo items I found the selection and pricing to be excellent.

The staff were very kind and happy to answer any and all questions, I can more then recommend Simon's trains, and will be looking forward to returning next time I fly down.

Came in to collect an eBay purchase as I live locally. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the whole process from start to finish was plain sailing. My train was a Hornby Class 142 in Northern and was immaculate and worked perfectly.

The shop is absolutely stocked from floor to ceiling of model trains in various gauges making it ideal for any collector.

I live about an hour away but will definitely pop in again for anything else model railways!

We visited here on our week away and met Maxine. This is a wonderful little shop with a lot of stock. I especially liked going through the lovely selection of secondhand stock and at such great prices. Very worth a visit. Parking around the back is easy. Shop opens onto road so a take care. Will visit again when next in Cornwall.

Popped in while on holiday in Cornwall this is an amazing shop just wished I lived closer to Mansfield a bit of ride purchased a class 158 in GWR 2 car DMU n gauge very helpful young lady wished I had more time all the best keep up the good work

First time purchase from Simon's Trains. Loco was much cheaper than elsewhere, I phoned to check if in stock and had a great helpful conversation. Went ahead and ordered on line, when I found that postage was free.
Received confirmation and later same day was emailed to advise item was posted. Received the loco the next day, well and securely packag.ed. Great service, will use again

Looked at website, said open. Thought I'd go for alook while on holiday. 40 miles so 80 round trip to see a note on door.
Due to unforseen circumstances not open again until tuesday 11th June. Could this not have been put on the web site. Disappointed!!! No wonder i stick to the internet..
