Wonderful Inn, food was excellent and very well presented. The special board section was good and nice fish options, especially the deviled whitebait. We ate as a party of 8 and all food came out on time and hot. Staff were lovely, knowledgeable about the menu and service was great. Would visit again

Lovely staff. Very helpful. Full restaurant so booking advised. Wonderful Christmas decorations. Some comfy sofas by the fire. Ample parking. Well worth a visit. Really interesting menu and wine list. Light lunches catered for and daily specials.

Delicious lunch on a very hot day in the pub garden. Plenty of seating, both indoors and out with pretty umbrellas for those seeking shade.
There were three of us dining and we chose the small rump steak, the full rack of ribs and a butterflied chicken breast with smoked bacon… all delicious. My husband then had the meringue with lemon curd dessert, which looked divine and didn’t last long!
We would definitely return another time.

Walked in without being here before and without a booking all staff were very friendly, we did have a long wait to order food and for food to get to the table but was incredibly busy at the time so made a lot of sense that it was a bit of a wait. Staff were very apologetic about the wait which was fine as we could clearly see they were busy. Both myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our food and have said we definitely need to come here again as the food was so delicious. Plus even with me being fussy with food they got my order fully correct with no issues. Definitely returning customers as it was so lovely.

Great service. Food was outstanding. Kids loved the jacket potatoes, but they really loved the deserts.
