Loved it here! Great range of interesting food options to suit every palette, super friendly owner. We'll definitely come back. The satnav will take you through a housing estate to get there...fear not, that is the right way!

Not your average café. Although the menu is not particularly original, what arrives at the table is delicious.

I put it down to the use of high quality ingredients and staff who obviously take a pride in what they are doing.

The only slight problem is that they don't yet have prominent signage on the pavilion, which makes it hard to spot from the car park.

Worth making the trip.

A fully deserved 5 stars for the amazing pizza, sauce, cakes and service at the Pizza Night yesterday. My toppings were biltong, artichoke and tuna. Very happy to see liberal amounts of each topping on the 12" pizza - all of which were delicious, particularly the crispy dried biltong which I'd never had before.

The base was very crispy and the crust rock solid so I left the crust, however I think this might be because I arrived 5-10 minutes after my ETA. Hence, it might be better to order it fresh there and then, even if there is a wait. I will happily eat a crunchy base, though, so I was not concerned.

I asked for some dips and received two little pots of sauces which I think the Farm Shop make on site - a peach chutney and hot chilli sauce. Both were incredible and highly recommend buying them in jars. They went very well with the pizza and the quantity was just right. There was no cost for these.

There were a selection of 3 cakes from which to make a very difficult choice. Alternatively, you can buy multiple, as I did, getting one Chocolate Fudge and one Apple Marange. I enjoyed the latter (very appley, light and fluffy base, perhaps consider dusting with cinnamon powder) and have yet to try the former.

Finally, a very welcoming service even at 7pm when I arrived, which was 30 minutes before it closed. Very cosy timber-framed seating area inside.

These comments are confined to a South African themed evening. It is possible that a qualified chef works during the day hence the enthusiastic reviews elsewhere.
Frankly we were taken for mugs. The South African theme decor was confined to two flags attached to an unlit lamp on our table. Not even the background music appeared to be South African themed.
The menu was extremely limited and was pre-publicised. So you would think that the menuchoices would be available. Just three menu choices: beef or oxtail curry or an extremely over priced platter. There was no beef curry available despite the fact that there were no more than 10 other customers in the cafe and we had prebooked and been forced to part with £16 deposit. Had this not been  the case we would have probably left without delay after bring told that no beef was available. Obviously the chef could not be bothered to go to the butchers.
After a shared, tiny bowl of biltong the platter arrived consisting of half a cheese and tomato toastie, four tiny pieces of boerwurst (each piece was the size of half an average finger), some maize meal served in a tangy sauce and two small twisted burnt lamb chops. These were so brown that you could not differentiate between fat, bone and meat. This platter cost a whopping £18!!.
My score is generous in the circumstances and I advise other potential customers to avoid being taken in by the cafe's hype on social media. The host spent a lot of time that evening laughing, probably at our expense.
