Alison and Dave are absolutely superstars!!! What with COVID and illness my Dad has been unable to go fishing for many years and his one wish has been to have another day fishing. It is 40 years since I went fishing and quite frankly wouldn't have had a clue what to do!! We booked The Lake House at Cudworth Manir for a midweek break (highly recommended them as well) and they put us in touch with Alison. Alison and Dave are both qualified instructors who sorted EVERYTHING.... Tackle, bait, licenses, wheelchair blocks and then both stayed with Dad on the first day and then left him the tackle overnight to have another couple of hours the following morning with his Grandaughter. I am so thankful to both of them for the for allowing me to give Dad the opportunity to go fishing again. If anyone is looking for novice tuition or support for mobility restricted anglers I strongly recommend Alison and Dave.

Took my 7yr old son for his first fishing experience and can’t speak highly enough of Alison and Dave. Lovely people, super friendly, explained everything and patient. My son absolutely loved it and would highly recommend for anyone looking to learn or try.

Thank you Alison, Dave, Sam, Ian and all the team at Henfold Bait and Tackle, we had an absolutely brilliant afternoon with you all for my son's 9th birthday. He and his friends had the best time and all of them are now completely 'hooked' on fishing, all down to your careful and attentive coaching to a group of excitable novices! You even organised a fantastic treasure hunt around the grounds which the children loved. The fish were biting, the sun shone, the kids were happy - what a brilliant day! Thank you.

Absolutely outstanding bait and tackle shop, Always stocked with quality and affordable products. The staff are incredible people and outstanding all round anglers with countless years of experience. The coaching service they provide is second to none they are so involving and so happy to share the love for the sport. 1000% recommend this for absolutely everyone, definitely worth a stop

Couldn't speak higher of the shop and staff. They couldn't do more for you. Hired gear off them as well as had an angling lesson, loved it. Later on an elderly family member came along and was able to join in with the fishing, having a superb day and making great memories.
