We often end up using the coop as its opening times are good but it has a strange damp smell and a 4 star food hygiene rating. The queue is often long and serving is very slow due to slow tills that often seem to have problems

Was on holiday up the road and this was the closest thing to a supermarket. Clearly they knew the locals but friendly, helpful staff. I was looking for 2 things the other day and one young lad went out his way to help. One star dropped literally for some of the organisation of stock as the 2 things I couldn't find really weren't where they should be in my head. But if at any point in the future I'm in this town again I will be back

If there's one place you can depend on if it's late and everywhere else is shut it's this co-op. Nice place to shop since the revamp and the only co-op left after the bigger one closed down. Handy to have and friendly staff.
