Should have looked at the reviews first but Pepe’s is usually really nice but this spot is a miss recommend the chicken shop next door I’ll be real.

I visited Pepe's on 7th August at 1 PM and was quite disappointed with the experience. The staff were obnoxious and rude, not only to me but also to the delivery workers, which was entirely unacceptable. I ordered loaded fries and a chicken burger, spending about £11.68. I was told my order would be ready in 5 minutes, but when I returned in 7 minutes, I was informed that it would take an additional 10 minutes. The worker's response, "This is Pepe's, not McDonald's, wait," was unprofessional and off-putting.

When the delivery driver arrived, the food was ready, but the worker's behavior towards him was equally rude. He rudely commanded the driver to "stop and wait" as if the driver had done something wrong. The driver's calm response highlighted the worker's uncalled-for attitude.

The food itself was decent, but the unpleasant staff behavior overshadowed the experience. Pepe's needs to address these customer service issues to improve the overall experience.

Visiting Pepe’s restaurant near Emirates Stadium on a match day was a fantastic experience. As a fan of halal food, I was delighted to find a spot that catered to my dietary requirements while offering a great match-day atmosphere.

The first thing that struck me upon arrival was the lively ambiance. Being so close to the stadium, the area was bustling with football fans, yet Pepe’s managed to maintain a welcoming and organized environment. The staff were friendly and quick to accommodate despite the rush, which was a testament to their professionalism.

The menu at Pepe’s offers a great variety of options, and the fact that everything is halal was a major plus. I opted for their famous peri-peri chicken, accompanied by spicy rice and fries. The chicken was perfectly cooked—succulent, flavorful, and with a smoky char that gave it a distinct edge. The spice levels were just right, with options to suit both mild and heat-loving palates. My companions also enjoyed their meals, with particular praise for the chicken wrap and the loaded fries, which were generously portioned and packed with toppings.

One thing I appreciated was the balance between speed and quality. Match day can often mean rushed service at nearby eateries, but Pepe’s maintained high standards.

I don't recommend this location, I'm a loyal customer, but not in this area, it was empty bread, no sauces, very strong pitta and it wasn't fresh... Very disappointed... 😡😡😡😡🫵

I love Pepes. They always deliver but when I bought 2 boxes of the rice and chicken they tried to give me a tiny garlic dip. I argued that I just spent 20£ so why can’t I have 2 dips for the 2 boxes. Ridiculous that the argument went on for so long when I have already spent quite a lot in the store for years. In the end they conceded and gave me the extra dip. Hopefully they stop being stingy

Very bad service burnt chicken, 30 minute wait for eating in and the store was empty. Deliveroo drivers were getting more importance despite us ordering first. Customer service was APPALING and we constantly heard the workers laughing and making jokes rather than prepping the food. The table was dirty and they dashed the receipt with no decorum. Didn't look clean and felt like we were prone to diseases after eating. Made us feel like we did not deserve good customer service. Went there at 5pm on a Thursday.

When I called it to complain A person called Husien Spoke to me , He had zero customer service. He just simply said that There is no problem from our side Telling me to go complain if I wanted to
I was a regular, it’s a shame
Very unfriendly staff as well, I will never go back there

Awesome atmosphere in the shop had some good Indian music on to fill the the space, but service was great had a good laugh with the owner even though we just got soaked from the rain, was deffo worth the stop - left feeling full and happy 😁
