Stayed here about 7 months ago. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bar/restaurant is brilliant with great food and service. The location is perfect, right in the middle of town. I've been to many 4/5 star rated hotels and we enjoyed The Old Bridge more than all of them! Definitely coming back next year. Thanks so much and keep up the high standards!!!

We have just got home from a lovely two night stay at The Old Bridge Inn. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were given a warm welcome. The room that we booked was a cosy double. It was everything we expected. It was small but adequate for our stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were plenty of complimentary tea, coffee , hot chocolate and biscuits in the room and a good size TV. The bathroom was also small but again adequate for a short stay. The toiletries were of high spec and the towels were large and soft. The food in the hotel was delicious and of high quality. The restaurant was always busy, which is always a good sign. I can honestly say that the breakfast was the nicest we'd ever had in a hotel. There was a great choice on both the restaurant menu and the breakfast menu. Thd hotel is right in the heart of Holmfirth so everything is on your doorstep. I would just like to say a special mention about Tate who was always attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. All staff were brilliant though. We will definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful stay

Went for lunch last week, we were one of onky 3 couples in the restaurant side of the place, ordered our meals which came and were nice, not once did anyone ask if we wanted a dessert, so I waited 15 minutes to see if anyone was going to ask us. By this time we were the only people in there.

I had to get up and walk round the corner where I found a young man chatting with a child about what was on his laptop, I asked him if I could order a dessert and a coffee for me.

The dessert arrived.

I had to again go and ask the young man, who was chatting away again if I could have my coffee.

He said he'd forgotten and didn't charge me for one.

Food good, service was terrible.

Had an excellent meal! Could not have faulted it! Staff were excellent! friendly qnd very efficient Food was served quickly and sticky toffee pudding was gorgeous!! Big shout out to Tate who was exceptional! Thank you will definitely be back!!

I needed a place that would provide a good post concert nights sleep, with a decent breakfast in the morning.||The Old Bridge Inn provided exactly that.||My room was VERY small, just enough room to walk around the bed. But the bed/linens/pillows were of a good quality.||The hospitality & service was VERY GOOD. Seemed to genuinely want to try and ensure everyone had an enjoyable time.||I do think they should extend bar hours (just an hour) for residents, especially Fri or Sat, when there is a concert at the adjacent picturedome. Closing at 11, was a little disappointing.

Had a terrific 3 night stay in the hotel obviously up for Summer Wine visit. Stayed in room 27 the room at the front with balcony. Dinner breakfast nd drinks were worth it. Well decorated interior forget about the scaffolding doesn’t hinder the experience. All staff were helpful to ensure your stay goes well. Will be returning next May to do more exploring

Went on Saturday night before a concert and they were great finding us a table as not booked in advance. Had lovely meal and drinks, very friendly attentive staff. Top marks.
