I visited Poppa Piccolinos tonight with my family. The lovely restaurant is in a beautiful, central location in Holmfirth. It is easy to get to and there is a lot of parking nearby.
The restaurant was busy and had a great atmosphere. The welcome we received from staff was warm and inviting and from the moment we sat down, waiting staff were very attentive.
The food is absolutely beautiful. The flavours are amazing and you absolutely won’t leave hungry! The portions are fantastic.
The owners are kind people who are also very attentive and make it feel extra special.
It has lovely decor and the restaurant is very clean.
Will absolutely visit again with friends and family as it’s a new favourite for just a family get together or a celebration.

(Please note that on the photos the rice came in beautiful presentation but we had started eating before I remembered I just had to get photos of this beautiful food!!!)

We didn’t book but called in at the end of a busy weekend to see if we could get a table. There was plenty of space, and we were given a warm reception by Scott. Food was superb and came with very generous portions, and the location was ideal. We would highly recommend the restaurant, and will certainly visit when we return to Holmfirth.

Great food, fantastic service and really good value for money. Found this place in Holmfirth a short distance from our Air B and B and we would definitely recommend and will go back. Fresh homemade pizzas and pasta. Large portions too. Lovely staff that are really attentive. Had a great night with family but would be equally nice for a romantic night out or group dinner

Great service from Scott and the team. Food was stunning. We had our main meal from the specials, lamb and seafood pasta....absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend.

Staff are really attentive, couldn't be more helpful when choosing gluten free options. Food was amazing and great value. Chef came out to see if everything was OK which was well appreciated. Would recommend.

We visited last Saturday, there was a group of 6 of us.
It was very busy, we were in the corner on a round table and I did have to keep moving my chair throughout the meal so staff and customers could get by which wasn't ideal but the rest of our party didn't have to move.

There was a lot of choice on the menu which was great, we had a main and dessert each and our friends had a bottle of win, the bill came to around £150. Me and my partner thought it was a quite pricey for what it is but the food was nice so it is a nice treat.

We also asked for no ice cream for one of our desserts but it arrived with ice cream, not a massive deal but wanted to mention it on my review.

It was very noisy and when the Happy Birthday song came on twice it was extremely loud so I wouldn't recommend if you want a quiet meal.

The toilets were clean as well.

We had a great family meal at Poppa Piccolinos! The steak was cooked perfectly, and our kids loved the pizza and fish fingers. The warm, traditional atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for a cozy family dining experience!

Really love this place same every time fantastic staff are outstanding and food is out of this work I keep going here as the business is having a hard time due to temporary works and no parking people choose to to go places more convenient I would just like to add that I did have to park out the way due to parking circumstances but I would also like to say that the many grateful food places I walked bye this was worth the walk cracking little place and I hope people read this and take my advice to go the extra mile in support of a local business you won’t be let down guys
