Wish Id discovered this place before. Took prescriptions for myself & my Daughter, had lenses made thinner for mine which were put in to frame I took. Daughter choose frame there & they ordered her a pair in which they did not have which she really wanted. Quick efficient & friendly service & they went out of their way to accommodate a time we could visit.
The price was so much better than what our usual optician would charge us.
Plan to get extra pairs, sunglasses & all future glasses from here.

Excellent service. Broke glasses and within half an hour had a new pair at a very reasonable price. While there someone came in with a pair of glasses where the lenses had come out and they immediately sorted it out. Very impressed.

Wow, what a find. If you're in need of glasses you have to come here. Brought my prescription in, chose from a wide selection of frames and paid a deposit. 3 days later my glasses were ready. The real difference is the price...sooooooo cheap. I got antiglare coated lenses with snap on sunglasses for £80. The lenses on their own were £35. Unbelievable value compared to normal opticians. I will not be going anywhere else for spectacles in future.

I got a prescription from Scriven's in Penistone which I took to Holmfirth optical who supplied a nice new pair of Superdry framed glasses,after a few days i found that these were not as good as my old ones,to cut a long story short Scriven's had done the prescription wrong ,Paul at Holmfirth Optical changed the lenses and didn't want payment for something which was not their problem.
In a word brilliant company …Highly recommended

Cheap glasses and there is a reason for that. My partner thought she would save a fortune when our neighbour told her to get her glasses here. Yes they were cheap but she can't see out of them, when she told the bloke this he just shrugged and said it was the opticians fault and the test was wrong. Funny that because when we took the glasses to a different optician for a second opinion they said the test was fine BUT the lenses in the glasses were in the wrong way round. Don't waste your money with this cowboy. Buy Cheap, pay twice. Lesson learnt!
