We had a lovely stay. We weren’t expecting that. Lovely location, 5 minutes drive away from M6 in Holmes Chapel. We got a good deal in January, the price is very good, Bed and Breakfast for less than £100 on Saturday night.

The room is very comfortable and clean, the size is ok, the shower is very nice and the water is powerful, got Tea bags and coffee with kettle in the room.

The public space is very well decorated and maintained, the corridor is wide.

The Leisure Centre is also good, we enjoyed the sauna and the steam room, jacuzzi also the pool.

The breakfast is also amazing. Very worthy. Pay a little bit more for the breakfast.

We enjoyed a stay here recently and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
The staff were attentive, professional and plentiful.
The room and the rest of the hotel are decorated beautifully and I didn't see any scuffs or sealant mould like you get in so many other places.
The food is excellent and this also extends to the breakfast.

Awesome hotel, rooms and facilities all clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good and bar meals reasonably priced. Spa facilities included and couldn’t be faulted. Very good gym and pool etc. All the staff were super friendly and professional.
We took a dog and he was made to feel welcome, with bed and treats provided in the room. Really nice stay!

The room was tatty, the bed uncomfortable, the steaks at the restaurant were overpriced (over 30 pounds) but burnt and bitter (they need to clean their grill I believe), served sith anemic overly salty fries and you could hear the M6 from our bedroom.
A pair of knickers were left by a previous guest in the cupboard but obviously not removed when the room was cleaned and the bathroom fan was broken.
The hotel was full of conference guests who were a bit rowdy, banging and crashing in the hallway at night. While this disrupted our sleep, it was even worse to be woken up at 6:30 by a fire alarm. To top it off, on our way back to our room from a pretty poor lukewarm breakfast we walked past a pool of sick, the colour of red wine.
This was by far one of the worst hotel visit I have ever experienced. I felt compelled to leave a review in order to warn other potential guests.

Very nice hotel. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist. Our room was lovely. We used the pool, which was perfect after a busy day, especially the jacuzzi! Breakfast had a great choice and we really enjoyed what we had. We would definitely return when next in the area!

Honestly couldn’t fault this lovely hotel and Spa. The staff on check in were informative and friendly, the meals were excellent and the conference facilities were great and modern. Definitely come here again. I knew this place when it was a hospital, it has a fascinating history.

"you’ll enjoy the best of seasonal produce and local ingredients"||Really? My wife spent an overnight here for a business trip. She arrived late in the afternoon and settled in. She said the room was ok which is good considering some of the places she's stayed.||In the evening she joined a colleague for dinner. There was a buffet which apparently was just meat and fish with nothing else on display. Instead they had a bar meal and ordered at the same time.||My wife's choice was some sort of pie. I say this because she described it as "5 pieces of unchewable beef with a soggy pastry top". This is not a pie of any description I know of.||It arrived 30 minutes after her colleague's choice. That's not bad service. That's no service.||How can that happen? ||I can reveal that a poorly run kitchen with a poor choice of ingredients and lack of imagination can easily achieve this sort of standard. I'm guessing with the De Vere group all the food is brought in via one of the big food service companies rather than being local. Unless the warehouse is down the road.||To be fair my wife said she had an ok sleep but decided to leave without breakfast. Which was the safe option I think. This saved it from being a one star review.||Good job she wasn't paying for it.

Amazing 😁 all had a great night . Food was very good . 3 course meal all spot on . Food came out all the same time , bedrooms were lovely. All nice and clean. Good variety of music. Lots of staff around if anyone needed anything. They were all more than happy to help . Plenty of bar staff to help to queues go down as quickly as they could .
