I was an avid fan of Sandwich Direct, purchasing sandwiches 3-4 times a week.
Sadly the business was sold onto new owners after Christmas.
Unfortunately, since this new ownership the shop just is not at the same quality as it once was.
I have not been impressed with:
A- The atmosphere, just doesn't feel as Jolly or friendly anymore.
B- The Service, quite often the attention to detail on the order is wrong. I ask for no salad, yet receive salad on my sandwich.
C- The lack of variety that there used to be.

Great shop, both ladies were really lovely and friendly. Loads of choice, including vegan options. The ingredients were all on display in the counter and all looked fresh. Genuinely the nicest vegan sandwich I’ve ever had. Soft bread, loads of really tasty fillings. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. No photo as I scoffed the sandwich so quickly and it wasn’t a pretty sight. I’ll try and take one next time I go.

The service was friendly and very easy to order and collect a breakfast. Sadly the food was awful. Very dry and stodgy with a strange after-taste. Maybe give a sandwich a go, not a breakkie!

Service excellent.Value excellent,compares very favourably with Chatwins shops but far more realistically priced.Breakfast Box,again,excellent.Took a punt,thought cold lamb bap ?! BUT Minted Lamb just OFF THE SCALE !!!

I never knew I loved minted lamb salads until I tried one here, not only do you get lamb but multiple other additions to accompany the salad, boiled eggs, chickpeas, olives, pasta, coleslaw etc keeping it very tasty and never mundane!

Fantastic food, lovely staff, breakfast wrap was amazing! Huge house of hot and cold sandwiches and jacket potatoes, perfect all day round! Highly reccomend you visit!
