The food was incredible and the atmosphere of this place is so nice.
We popped in for a late lunch after a whole day of walking and it was just what we needed.
The mushroom on toast is to die for, I added bacon to mine but it was delicious even without it. It is also available as a vegan option without goat cheese.

Always had a good meal here. The dude can really cook and puts together a creative menu. Great value too, big (mostly, My choice on the butter) vegan brekkie was 12 quid!

Had a delicious brunch today! Wonderful friendly service and buzzing atmosphere. Will definitely return!! Our usual cafe was unable to accommodate us but despite being busy the Village Kitchen staff were wonderfully welcoming - thank you so much ❤️

We had an evening meal in the Village Kitchen. It was sublime, each course was to die for. Visiting from Leeds and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We will definitely be booking again. I believe the menu changes on a monthly basis which keeps it interesting . A great big thank you to all the staff for making it an excellent experience. 👍😁

Stopped to take a look at their menu as I was passing during the local pride. As I was in a wheelchair, I couldn't go inside. But as soon as one of the staff members noticed us, she came outside with the card reader to take our order. Absolutely lovely staff. We only got some fries, but they were lovely, very crisp and fresh.

Had possibly the best cooked breakfast I’ve ever had this morning
Quality quality freshly cooked ingredients, really high standards and the brownie was exceptional
Great venue clean good service the only tiny thing i can fault Is i like a latte in a cup not a glass but this is without doubt a brilliant little cafe and we will be visiting again for sure

Popped in on a whim as didn't want a cold sandwich.
Friendly competent staff

Tuna melt is genuinely tasty and they don't skimp out on the filling.
