A shop that I was rather looking forward to visiting. Undoubtedly has a good range of quality goods. That’s the upside, the downside being that the shopkeeper was frankly rude, arrogant, extremely quick to pass judgement and on this occasion showed a complete lack of customer service.

All of this apparently caused by me as I didn’t announce that our dog was an assistance dog, not that anyone has a legal requirement to do so.

Perhaps one of the strangest greetings I’ve ever had at a Sporting goods establishment, even funnier when you see the plethora of dog related goods on sale there.

All I can and will say is that I can most certainly afford to shop elsewhere and will !

During a quick visit to my home town of Holt I called in at Morston country sports, looking for some new walking boots. Got excellent advice and a new pair of boots which are extremely comfortable and good value.

I've been on the hunt for a Tilley hat whilst visiting here in Norfolk and after being unsuccessful I finally came across Morston Country Sports in Holt today. The young lady who took care of me today was extremely knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. She managed to sort me out with the correct size & sent me on my way happy. Just a great place for outdoor kit of all kinds. Highly recommended.

5 x Stars for entertainment, lacking in customer service skills and trying to rip me off when I returned a shirt that bought from the younger woman shop assistant the day before that was a size to small I bought a while there I bought a second shirt and she try to charge me for both shirts even when I showed her the receipt she continued to argue with me and said I was trying to steal it for being, she continued to argue with which was great entertainment for me as there is nothing like more than to reply to someone in the same snobbish curt tones I even laugh at them and smile which is great fun. This are beyond good customer service they would know good customer service it took a bite out of them stars for being Arrogant, ignorant, obnoxious, bigoted, crooks, these pair ugly low class shop workers who have ideas above their station in life who try try to speak middle class but who can hear the cockney Essex roots they are truly ill-mannered perfectly suited to serving the nouveau riche of the area as they are the same. They gave me deep joy knowing that I gave them a good telling of and I walked way happy for the rest of the day as I was rude right back. I thought it was great to know their lives are rubbish working in an overloaded shop, after they moaned to me about it. These two idiot shop assistance or owners could do with watching the customer skills course "who sold you this then" They don't deserve a job 🙂

Fantastic shop, with a huge range of products. I've shopped here over the last 10 years and have always had very knowledgeable, friendly service. There is never any pressure to buy the most expensive in the range, but rather what is suitable for your needs.

Absolutely classist shop. I was completely ignored whilst trying to buy a new sweater and jacket. I was wearing a pair of shorts and trainers during my visit, and I believe this the reason for the arrogant behaviour. The shopkeeper and assistant just carried on their conversation and didn’t even try and get out of my way as I passed through the shop. No welcome nor assistance was offered. I wish I had read a couple of the reviews before daring to enter this shop with trainers on. As a new resident of Holt, keen on outdoor sports, I’ll be shopping elsewhere.
