Lovely shop! This is an experience not to be missed. How shopping should be! Excellent quality products including men/women's clothing, kitchen shop, Christmas department, Delicatessen, Garden department, a cafe and a restaurant and numerous other items on offer. Situated in the centre of Holt . Staff very helpful and friendly, a lovely atmosphere all round.

I love this store! Situated at the heart of Holt, it reminds you so much of the old fashioned department stores that are so quickly disappearing from our high streets . But this is far from old fashioned once you explore inside. Such a collection of anything you can think of from provisions to pencils, China to clothing, kitchen ware to gardening and the list goes on and on, all on one site, with it's own car park and a lovely cafe once you're shopped out. If you're visiting Holt, visit here, you won't be disappointed. Will suit all pockets.

Superb old style department shop, just like Grace Bros. Great customer centric service from a well established local team where true service counts. The No.10 cafe is amazing with a lovely chef and servers who go the extra mile to please customers! Nicely decorated for Christmas too...

I made a cheeseboard from the cheeses I purchased at the provision section at Bakers & Larners, and I was delighted as to the quality of the products.

There is a large selection of British cheeses (and other edible goodies) on offer, as well as a lot of well-chosen international products. The lady behind the cheese counter, Kerry, was phenomenal. She was knowledgeable, welcoming, and was very helpful in helping my partner and I determine which products to purchase. I went with a few jams, olives, crackers, and Comte, Montagnolo, Truffle Brie, and French goat cheese.

I was also very pleased at the large gluten free section of goods available!

I often wonder why we visit Holt in Norfolk 2 to 3 times a year, the reason why is to visit the local attractions and after all this famous shop sitting in the heart of the town.
It is quite remarkable to see such a great store in this location as you may need to spend some time in it to catch all the products they sell, take a lot of money with you as you will wish you took more when you see the items they sell. Fantastic store from food to household, cloths, and many more.
The staff are very helpful and pleasant all we help you with all your needs, if you get there early it is easy to park but around midday it can become a bit tricky.
There is a lot of eat places available in the quaint town but I do emphasize you pay a visit to this great store you will not be disappointed

Such fabulous staff. We brought a relative on a rare trip out for coffee and to choose some slippers. The cafe team were lovely (as was the food). Christina in the shoe department was delightful. So helpful, kind and patient. Definitely made our trip! Thank you

To start with, went into the home section to ask whether dogs were accepted. Whilst I was told they were, the cashier did not seem too happy, however said dogs are allowed accept in the restaurant and food hall areas (understandable). I then went into the food hall (dogs left with relative outside!) and was made to feel so unwelcome, I left. There were a few products I was interested in, however I was made to feel out of place (I have bright red hair,
piercings, tattoos, black clothing, however well educated and well spoken and young) I haven’t experienced this in a long time anywhere else. My mother then went in after me (middle class generic woman in her 50s) and she was treated with respect. I had seen a few items in both home and food hall areas that interested me, however following the attitude of the staff towards me, I decided not to make these purchases. Felt very much like a book judged by its cover, when other shops within the town were welcoming, chatty and polite (highly recommend The Tannery!)

I love the shop. But I dislike the layout. It's not practical for the disabled. Too many steps and not enough ramps. Each flour or level needs to be exited to the outside and entered again through another door, which means if it's raining someone in a wheelchair would get wet.
