Fantastic launderette. Called up to ask a few questions, I'm clueless with laundry, n the lady I spoke to was friendly n helpful. She reassured me the staff would be happy to help me n she was right! Staff were very friendly n informative. The service was good value and efficient. They even had a toy area, much to my 1.5year old delight! Will be returning for future laundry needs! Thank you.

Car park directly outside. 40 mins free parking. Other free parking walking distance. Premises has clean, fresh appearance. Welcoming, friendly helpful staff. Can be self service or assisted service. Self is About £8 per load + £5 drying. About 25 mins wash. No need to wait. Good experience.

I'm surprised at the glowing reviews which tbh is what brought me here.

I'm constantly travelling due to work, and hand in heart I can say this is one of the worst launderettes I've come across in 20 years.

Rocked up with a bag of dirty work clothes. When asking for change I'm Informed the big machine is £15. Ouch. Expensive, but it must be good. Good reviews and stuff. Put in the clothes and go to put the soap, the soap receptacle is caked with a mix of all the previous users soaps, powders and god knows what. Well, it must be ok, they got.good reviews so probably is not too bad...

I select the 'heavy soiled' cycle and put in 15 coins. The machine tells.me I'm missing a pound. When i inquiry,I'm informed that the heavy soiled cycle is an extra pound. Mmmhh, ok.

Before I can reach for a pound the attendamt without saying anything changes the cycle to 'fast warm wash' and hits "start". I say I wanted the other cycle as they are heavy soiled clothes. She smiles and walks away.

So I came in with a bag of dirty clothes, and 20 minutes and £15 later I have a bag of wet dirty clothes, smelling of a heady mix of a cocktail of various detergents and softeners. Great.

Got to dry them at least, so head for the dryers. They have a bigger one, so at least I got a chance to dry them in 1 go. Until I start putting coins, to find a pound gets you 3 minutes, so £5 only gets you 15 minutes of drying time.

I'm a slow learner and think it's probably a good dryer, good reviews and stuff, so put it in 'hi temp' and settle in for the 15 minutes wait.

Soon as it stops spinning I open the door, normally you have to give it a few minutes to handle the clothes or it burns. Except that when I touch the clothes to check they are cold, lukewarm at best, and as wet as when I put them in. Awesome. Slow learner but not it finally sunk in. No point putting more money. It'll probably need over 20 pounds worth and the half an hour still would not be enough.

So there you go. For the pricely sum of 20 pounds this laundry will turn you dirty clothes into wet dirty clothes, and you got the pleasure of paying again for having to go to a real decent launderette to wash your clothes all over again instead of doing pointless things like enjoying your one day off.

At least it gives you time to write lengthy reviews while you wait for your washing to be done I gues.

Amazing service! My washing machine broke down and Sarah with her husband helped me out with their great, prompt service. They have even done collection and delivery which turnaround was just a few hours. Clothes came out washed, dry and folded. I cannot praise them enough and recommend them to everyone.

What can i say amazing service. Took a coat in just after 9 oclock tdy. With really bad food grease on it. Washed cleaned and dryed and drop of to me at my shop by 1.30 same day. The stains are more or less gone. Trust me it was bad. Laundrette is always clean tidy and again service was fantastic. Thankyou jackie and sarah for always being so helpful x
