Was lady serving so can't comment on reviews about unfriendly man! She was helpful and polite. Fantastic selection of proper traditional sweets much better than the large chain shops or online. Wish id bought more.

The unbelievably rude owner ruins this shop. He’s always been offhand with customers but our on our last two visits he has been incredibly rude to us for absolutely no reason. (And to plenty of other people in the shop at the same time as us!) Unfortunately after years of visiting with my children I won’t be returning. I would suggest that he shouldn’t have a customer facing role in this business as he’s not suited to it!

Very rude man and with so many warning signs on the door it isn’t very welcoming. Whilst he sells some great sweets his customer service is not nice. We were turned away very rudely at 2 minutes past 4pm. He closes at 4 (despite google saying 5pm). We were waiting very patiently for customers inside to leave before we entered. We have been extremely loyal customers since he first opened and unfortunately this was to be our last visit with my kids before relocating away from Wallingford.

What a lovely sweet shop!!! Very friendly, and helpful staff. They also had everything I needed. Highly recommend typing there for your sweet tooth cravings, (especially the bonbons and pineapple cubes) ?

I love this sweet shop.. I love all sweet shops but this place is just perfect. The gentleman behind the counter is always so kind and happy. Also can't deny the fact he has the choice of hard and soft midget gems is a winner as most places only have the soft lol! He was so patient whilst my toddler was picking her pick n mix. Definitely will keep coming back.

Nice little sweet shop packed with lots of tasty goodies! The store is designed to look old fashioned but there are modern sweets (millions etc...) and old fashioned ones like rock candy! The guy who is on the till is really nice. The sweets are at a range of prices- from cheap ones to quite expensive nicely presented gifts!
