Had the best afternoon with Nick and Maria at their home. The tour was very interesting and informative, so much to see and look at. Afternoon tea was lovely. I didn't know what to expect to be honest but had a wonderful time at Back in Time for Tea and will be back. Thank you! A must and highly recommend.

Highly recommend Nick & Maria’s historical venue - what an amazing place! The hosts were so hospitable and Maria was so gracious in helping with dietary request.
Throughly enjoyed the afternoon tea and tour…. Nick’s colourful & knowledgeable tour was a remarkable eye opener! So much history under one roof. Book in advance and you won’t be disappointed!

Nick and Maria are brilliant hosts. The tour was packed with historical information about the property, the village and the local area. It was incredible to learn about the work they have done to restore it to its former glory. Their home is like a museum, filled with artefacts relating to the building's history. The enormous toy collections made us feel particularly nostalgic. The tea, sandwiches, cakes and scones were lovely. Thank you for a wonderful few hours. We'll certainly be recommending to family and friends.

A lovely place to sit and have a Birthday Afternoon Tea. Nick and Maria are perfect hosts who gave us a lovely insight to their beautiful home and its history. Would definitely recommend booking a visit and a tour of the house.

Phone in advance to book and be prepared for the perfect spot for afternoon tea. The old coaching inn that the tea room is in is worth a visit in it’s self. The tour was great with plenty of collectables from the years the inn has existed. The tea, sandwiches and cakes were lovely and there was plenty for two of us. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

A totally different way to see local history and have locally sourced food.
Have a cup of tea or coffee, then a guided tour of the building. Then have your afternoon tea.
Very knowledgeable about the history of the building and the area.
