I ordered 27/11/2020. Got an email saying the order will be late. Recieved something from them today (12/12/2020) and it isn’t even my order!

Spent over £100 on a new machine and accessories/syrups and all I got was a sodastream bottle and a bottle of syrup that I didn’t order! No machine nothing!

Guess what, their customer service only works weekdays.

I am absolutely livid and I can’t rectify the situation until Monday at the earliest!

Customer Service doesn't know the meaning of the word service! Perfect when ordering my machine but when it comes to refunding they are absolutely hopeless. I couldn't even get through to them on the phone and when I eventually did I that was told they recognise that the phone system is inadequate! (Claire Prior). Just emailing the chief exec and anyone else I can find before taking to small claims court.
Trades under Sodastream Uk and is not a company I will deal with again. I'm trying to get a refund for my machine because I have no confidence that they will order the guarantee. (Based on over a month trying to get a simple refund for a gas cylinder.)

I understand things are difficult and trying with the pandemic. But this is next level: The online system for reordering gas that we have already paid for (!) does not work and instructs you to call. So you call, and there is an immediate voice recording that answers saying no one can take the call and to try emailing. I have emailed 6 times in two weeks - they say four days to respond, but that still has not happened. It’s infuriating, unprofessional and enough to pick a different product. The pandemic is no longer a sufficient excuse - you can respond to customer emails remotely and certainly within two weeks.

I purchased 4 gas cylinders from Sodastream and when empty I returned them in the box provided with the Sodastream label and a month later I am still waiting for my £40 deposit to be returned! If you go for this service, be sure to keep the Collect+ receipt - you'll most likely need it to prove the cylinders were returned.

Terrible online interface. Recently moved to DPD shipping which requires a really laborious returns process, including a printer. 'Subscription' can't handle the fact it might get used up and doesn't tell you why you can't order more cylinders. Zero response to email enquiries.

Damaged and customer care dreadful!

This product arrived with damaged packaging when ordered from the manufacturer direct. I complained about it as it was a Christmas gift and had a reply from customer services saying they would look into it and nothing was done about it. I complained again and asked for new packaging to be sent but after a reply from customer services nothing was received. Now I have given the gift which looked like it came from a car boot sale, when opened it is also broken. So I have clearly been sent a broken unit. The customer care department is shockingly bad and now I am waiting again for a reply to rectify the situation. How long that will take is anyone's guess!!!!!!

Used SodaStream for a lifetime and LOVE it.

I have been using SodaStream's machines and other products since I was a child. I am now over 60 and feel bereft when I go on holiday abroad as I know that no bottled water you can buy is as fizzy or refreshing as my SodaStream Fizz. I am on 9 different medications, 8 of which have the side effect of causing a dry mouth. Yes, my mouth and throat are Dry and I need constant fizz to refresh me. Plain water will not do the job. If we go on holiday or even just a weekend away in the UK, my SodaStream goes with me. All our friends know we use a SodaStream and some have bought their own after seeing the benefits of mine. My parents still use their machine daily and they are in their 80's now. A lifetime's experience with the company's support and care has earned them our loyalty and deep respect. That SodaStream means people would use less plastic is a huge bonus - I just wonder how much plastic I have saved the planet over 60 years. Thank You SodaStream - you are the business.

Places an order on the 28th June and it still hasn’t shipped. So disappointed in this company. They assured me it would ship in 24hrs.. and every day since they say the same thing. Their logistics side appalling
