This sizeable and quite, well, chunky, church is mostly from the fourteenth century. Strong connections to American settlers and there's a display on this inside the church. Big efforts have been made to keep the church open and it's all well managed. Pretty graveyard and some interesting monuments inside the church.

Pretty, historical church. Perfect for the wedding we attended. The Vicar was very welcoming. And it was lovely hearing the pipe organ being played. Interesting seeing the damage left by the attack by Henry VIII army centuries ago. Really made me appreciate the talented people who had built it.

Interesting church with a lot of gravestones in the aisles which, despite being 250 years old, are hardly worn because they are made of hard black marble so easy and interesting to read. There is also a second hand bookstall and other charitable things. Set in an interesting and beautiful old village, well worth a visit.

To take down St George's flag on a day that commemorates his bravery for standing up for persecuted Christians is a disgrace. Put it back up.
