Called in for a light lunch at their café. Decent selection of hot and cold food, with seating inside and out. Flat access from the car park so wheelchair friendly. Wide array of reasonably priced plants and gardening sundries.

Bought 3 Hebe plants from Root One. Their plants all look so healthy and well kept. Would recommend this place. Their cafe is also an added bonus.

Big selection of healthy-looking plants, plenty of the usual garden centre stuff, a huge selection of outdoor patio pots. A nice spacious cafe with decent coffe and a fine all-day breakfast, slightly spoiled for me by a blaring radio.

The garden centre is full of varied and healthy plants. Very impressed. The lady at the till was very helpful and friendly.

My friend and I were very disappointed with the cake from the cafe. We decided to share a slice of carrot cake for £3.95. The cake was nice but the slice was TINY. Was not value for money.

Garden centre great, but cafe not so good -(

I would rate the gardening element as 5 stars, fair range, knowledgeable staff & fair prices, so is this is the reason for you potential visit you will be happy.

Cafe .... The coffee (when we finally got it) was very good. They had a 30 minute wait for hot food, this is fair enough. They also had 7 members of staff an it still took 15 minutes to be served a coffee & a squash (no food), and there was 1 person in front of me! The poor couple behind me waited even longer, and they had no hot food either. Several people said something similar when they took there seats, so I do not think we were unlucky. Staff were polite but they desperately need organising better.

Toasted mozzarella and roasted veg ciabattas were lovely. The tea for two was a swizz. A tiny teapot of tea and a tinier teapot full of hot water. £1.99 EACH for one drinkable tiny cup of tea.
I appreciate your reply. The small pot isn’t big enough for two cups. I don’t want unending hot water, I want to taste the tea! £1.99 for one tea bag and hot water really is a swizz.
