Very pleased with the big compost bin plus base.No complicated installation, just drop the bin on the rat proof base. The only problem I find is the twist and lift lid. There's a long bayonet type notch on the bin, but not on the lid which fits tightly but has to be pressed on hard and prised off with some difficulty.

I had to contact Original Organics as there was no sign of my order arriving - they were quick to reply giving an estimated delivery time which was fine. I have failed to keep details of the Blackdown wooden composter I was ordering to replace my existing one that was falling to pieces - but this one is quite different, requiring screws (supplied) to assemble it - so that is quite complicated and the design of lid does not appear to be as easy to us as the original - on those two counts I'd say the original design was better but this one does have thicker planks - so the jury is out.

Very happy, didn't measure up properly before I placed the order. I rang up and spoke to a very helpful person who managed to stop the order leaving the warehouse. Measured up properly and placed another order for the correct ones.
