Helen certainly knows her stuff, she is knowledgeable and friendly.  She guided us on the most suitable dresses to try on, for a wedding abroad.  Helen has a wide range of beautiful dresses.

I cannot recommend Helen and Lumi bridal enough, such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Lumi is a stunning shop and from your first try on you feel so special. Helen had changed the sign to include my name and the whole shop is yours for the entirety of the session. Helen also sorted out the seamstress Steph and booked us in there and then making everything feel so effortless. Steph was amazing and there was no hassle to have the perfect dress ready for our day. The smoothest experience of all my wedding planning which meant everything to me. We can’t thank you enough Helen.

Helen is knowledgeable, patient and a wonderful lady. With dresses for every occasion, there is sure to be something for everyone.

I went to LUMI after previously trying dresses on at another shop out of town. At the initial appointment, Helen welcomed us with a glass of fizz and took us into her dress room where we were able to look at all the dresses, looking at the different styles and creating a ‘shortlist’ of dresses to try on. She explained clearly the way she chose the order in which she recommended trying the dresses on. I tried on SO many dresses that I wanted to along with dresses she recommended.
When trying each dress on, she gave her take on the vibe the dress gave. Her knowledge on the detail on each dress was phenomenal - something you would expect but something I hadn’t experienced at other bridal shops.

Having whittled it down to three dresses, Helen arranged a refit for me to go and try the dresses on again. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to bring my two year old with me (which of course wasn’t ideal) but Helen was just as amazing with my toddler.

Helen and LUMI are amazing and I feel like I can’t recommend them enough!

I can’t recommend Helen enough for her exceptional service in helping me find my wedding dress! As the owner of Lumi, she went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful experience. Even though she didn’t have my chosen designer’s exact dress in stock, she ordered it just for me to try on.

Helen stayed late for my appointment, accommodating both my mom, sister and me, which I truly appreciated. The dress turned out to be perfect! She even celebrated with us by offering champagne and took my measurements twice to ensure everything was just right. Her thoroughness and kindness made the whole process feel special. If I could give more stars I absolutely would! I cannot begin to explain how thoughtful Helen is in making every customer feel as at home as possible at every appointment, with the whole experience being personalised to you as the bride.

The try on stage was made so easy with Helen's help and the layout of the shop which is beautiful in itself. The dresses are all very well made and handpicked by Helen who took the time to find out what I was looking for and what made me comfortable. What could have been a nerve wracking experience, Helen made so much easier, demonstrating her broad knowledge of every single one of her dresses and products with ease. Even with my poor descriptions she understood what I was after!

I should also add I snagged the last appointment of the day for two days and whilst it must be an incredibly gruelling job, you wouldn't have been able to tell from her enthusiasm. She truly made it a special experience for me and my bridal party and I'm so thankful I found THE dress with her.

I would highly recommend any bride take the trip to LUMI and I promise you won't be disappointed!
