Simple and comfortable dining hall at M&S. Perfect for morning cuppa. Variety of snacks and breakfast options. Staffs are lovely and quite helpful. Instore shopping is breezy and perfect for quick in and out. Complete beautiful outdoor experience across the shopping center.

Town centre food hall and only has small paper bags or large plastic bags. I was buying 8 or 9 heavy items and I was not confident in the strength of the paper bags so I ended up with one plastic bag which forced me to carry all the weight with one arm. Ideally M&S would provide bag solutions which work for all food combinations and transportation choices.

We ordered breakfast here yesterday, and the customer service was questionable!
We explained to the older lady that we were missing a breakfast toastie and she replied the other lady brought it out!
We said no we are still missing one.
They didn’t offer an apology or to fix the issue just a ‘we already brought it out’.

The younger girl then came out to us with a breakfast toastie that was not any of ours and said I have this one and we said no that’s not ours and she replied ‘do you want it or not’ and then stormed off into the kitchen.

Their customer service needs practice & to understand that if they messed up the service offer a refund or fix the issue instead of coming out to the table and saying ‘do you want it or not’ !!

I’m usually happy with visiting this Store but today I felt very dissatisfied. I use the self checkout for efficiency but today unfortunately I needed help. There was no one around apart from a lady on the till. I asked her for help & She called out to a man but he didn’t come. She shouted to me to just use another till So I had to re scan all my Shopping. How can this be more efficient? Not very happy with this standard of Customer Service ?

Generally this store is good quality and servers fresh food however I purchased for the weekend a bar cake from their fresh counter on getting home there was only 8 hours til it was out of date rather annoying when you purchased for the weekend it had less than a day life left on it ?
Contact was very poor on their phone mainly due to they don have a customer service contact for the store sadly the young girl stacking really just said it’s store policy not to mark it down til it’s day of expiry less than 8 hours away, I purchased in good faith an item thought to be fresh not the first time this has happened guess you just have to watch all dates on fresh food as they quite rightly say this just isn’t any old food !!!!!
Turns out their no better apparently they certainly need a customer support person wishing the store whom can tactfully deal with customer liaison anybody who gives a hoot would understand this sadly the young lady stacking didn’t give a toss 🙁 even turned away gues she isn’t paid to take stick either just a job 🙁

Convenient for quick shopping trips but expensive. Layout is designed to make you walk up and down numerous times, looking for items, in the hope you'll buy more.

Cakes and bread are good value when reduced.

No one way system and fellow shoppers aren't good at social distancing so best to avoid peak times.
