A market with potential but hindered by several traders with questionable operating models.

I went to explore fabric options at the market-trader - Jonathan Fabrics, only to be told I cannot explore options without commitment to buy. "Today is not the day to explore. I need to make sales. If you're not going to buy then walk on". I'm not sure about other people but I generally research options before making purchases. And where a website isn't available, in person is the only other option. Who spends money on fabric or anything, without checking the product first? Perhaps this market-trader is trying to conceal an issue - one which they can deny liability for once sale is complete...🤷

Love having my soap and skincare stall at the Farmers Market (Natural Spa Beauty) every last Saturday.

Lovely atmosphere and lovely people. My customers are amazingly supportive❤️ Lots to see too. The traders are so friendly and accommodating. We all help each other when it's needed. Fab family feel here. Highly recommended it🥰

Terry's Caribbean Foods have some excellent produce, the Casava and corn cobs we got today were some of the freshest I've ever seen.
My missus likes to use it in a salad...
Peel and boil casava, dice when cool. Add chopped garlic, cilantro, garlic and coconut oil = delicious and healthy!

Love Hitchin market! Easy to park in a couple of nearby locations. A good market with lots of unique stalls. Market is held about 4 days a week and I visit at least once a month

DO NOT PURCHASE from the absolute Bellend who sells the retro games consoles.. I was told £120 for a Nintendo sp.. do a quick Google search to find out what they are worth.. this guy is a grumpy salty guy.. I told him that the price was "rough" and he waffled on about how he had been selling here for 10 years.. that his collection is ginormous.. that there isn't anything he doesn't know about games consoles.. blah blah blah..

DO NOT waste your time with this piece of garbage..

I love going to the market in Hitchin, the stall holders are so friendly and have a lot of knowledge about there merchandise. I really like going to the tea hut and always have a bacon roll,a coffee and a great chat with the staff and the owner.
