So very excited for Hitchin Indian to open up the building 8-2 as British-Asian coffee shop. The menu is a great combination of cultures-with more traditional breakfast food available alongside Asian twists for those who fancy something a little bit different. This will definitely be a regular weekend treat for the family and cannot recommend it enough if you’re in the area. They also do a superb range of cakes, which we were lucky enough to sample and are equally delicious. It was also really convenient that we could bring a small dog in as well!

I started working in Hitchin a few weeks back, and this has been the first place I tried. The first night I got a Lamb Bhuna, Egg rice, Samosas and Bhajis, the second visit, a Cravacado (Avocado and egg croissant!), and I can truly say, food is better than anything I've ever had. The rice was pillowy soft, the bhuna was packed with flavour, I'll definitely be making this a frequent visit! Staff are excellent, and the atmosphere is next to none, very warm and inviting! Thankyou! 🙂

Love this place as an Indian takeaway, but now its opened up an Indian/Asian coffee shop in the mornings. We popped in there on Saturday with our dog and daughter, had a delicious Indian based breakfast and lush coffee. Hopefully it will become a bit more popular to create a bit more of an atmosphere in there, thats only thing that is lacking. I also wonder if some more upbeat, but stil Asian based tunes might liven it up about.

Staff were very friendly and accommadating.

Bakery also looked incredible, we tried the blueberry and lemon muffins - YUM!

My avocado and fried egg on toast tasted really good. I tried it with lime and chilli for the first time and it is a banging combination. Much recommended 🙂

Had lovely coffee and cake here today and it was very good with really friendly service. Would like to come back and try the breakfasts next time!
