Oh wow I’ve found this amazing gem in Hockley. Beautiful food my bagels were amazing and best I’ve ever had. The lady who owns it is lovely and was celebrating of being in Hockley for 1 year. I’m definitely going back ! She also does drinks and sweet treats. Thoroughly recommend a visit!

Server pounced on me for eating own food in the shop when I was putting shopping items away. NOTE: putting them away, not eating. Had to explain that. Left a sour taste. Won't be in again.

EDIT on 17/12/2024 in response: Response tells me owner isn't really owning up to or interested in her negative part of this. I didn't leave a "bad" review, I left an honest and factual one. Reviews are here to let other potential customers know the sort of environment they'll be in. If you don't like people being unhappy with their experience, perhaps give them a better one, which is in your hands. And, based on response, there is apparently a secret time frame in which to drink something. I could count one on hand the people that were in while we were there, and out with collections/takeaways five minutes later. You're not creating a nice or welcoming atmosphere.

Best bagels you'll get for miles!
Always service with a smile and the most delicious bagels. The big daddy is a Sunday morning best and even the coffee is spot on every time. Will definitely be back time and time again

The bagel was nice when she finally agreed to make it. But she was incredibly rude and judgemental and difficult when i asked if i could swap an item out of the bagel! Which made the experience unpleasant and made us feel unwelcome once we sat

Toppings for both bagels were all reheated and tasted like this too. The sausage was similar to the hot counter you see in uk petrol stations that have sat there all day long. Was expecting something more from a shop that only does bagels…

Really good menu choice and prices.

2 of us had the pepperoni pizza bagel and was it was delicious. The salt beef gherkin and mustard was packed with meat and was thoroughly enjoyed.

There are teething problems with paying by card but I am sure this will be quickly resolved. There are cashpoints a short walk away so not a big deal. The closest charges but the next one further down is free.

Good luck to them. We will definitely be back!!
