I like this shop and the couple who own it are nice people but had a really strange experience the other day. Last week I saw some dog bowls I liked in the window and went in to ask the price and then hopefully purchase 2 of them (if the price was right). When I asked the young man in the shop, I hadn't seen before, the price, his answer "they're not that expensive " as he stoked and played with my dog. No other information. The price? Nothing offered. There was another customer in the shop who the lad hadn't finished serving (the lad seemed a bit vague) and the customer appeared irritated so I said I'd call back and popped in again the other day. Same lad and also the owner Kevin. Same question, how much are they? This time the owner replied: "they're not s'dear ." Still no price offered! I was exasperated and said "you've told me this twice, HOW MUCH ARE THEY!" The lad got them out of the window and showed them to me. "How much are they?" He didn't know, went to the back, the owner, Kevin had gone. I lost my patience and the lad just said "bye" said that I was being aggressive and wouldn't serve me. I was upset at this. Why is being annoyed now considered aggression? It was the most extraordinary encounter. The lad then followed me outside and proceeded to tell my husband why he wouldn't serve me! What is this the 1920s! It was the most bonkers experience.
