I cannot fault First Stop. The shop has everything and more that you would need/want from a local store. I also use the shops service for sending and receiving post/parcels and never encountered any problems with staff. I have had to request assistance when scanning a QR code a few times but nothing is too much trouble and they’ve always been happy to help

I stopped shopping there after the rude encounter with staff.

Does not provide any help and does not fulfil services as required by Evri and Amazon.

Like many other reviewers, I have always had trouble with the EVRI machine. It is clear that the shop manipulates it to work at their convenience. When I complained to the shop’a owner, he took it personally. His exact words were ‘we didn’t invite you to come, if you don’t like it, don’t come again’. I informed him of the reviews on Google, and he repeated the same phrase. I’m a big supporter of local businesses, but if they don’t know how to do business they don’t deserve my custom.

They won't accept your parcel for a cooked-up reason like a lack of space. But they do have plenty of space

Sadly I agree with the other reviews here and felt better that the guy behind the till wasn't just rude to me. I'm all in favour of supporting local shops but the Evri machine in this place is difficult to work. The shop assistant said he wouldn't help me, he point blank refused, didn't even try. Really no need to be rude and unhelpful

Great shop with helpful staff. I always drop my parcels to them and they are always welcoming and efficient. Yes the printer might break from time to time but not their fault (it happens at other stores I’ve been to)
