What a great chippy. Everything is made fresh. The chips have a nice crisp texture with a fluffy inside. The fish is done to perfection. And to top it off the mushy peas are super. What a gem to have on our doorstep.

Tons of floaters in the vinegar and it was cloudy looks like it's been spat in and that was the same on every table!

Oh dear. We'd planned fish and chips for the journey home. My daughter requested pie and chips, which was missing from the order when we parked up at a viewpoint 10 minutes later. Staff were nice, but I cannot recommend when they get the very basics wrong.

Very nicely cooked fish and the chips may well be the best I've had from a chippy. Shame they were out of both gravy AND curry, otherwise 5 stars. However, because the fish and chips were so nice, the gravy wasn't so necessary.

As the wife had gone away for a couple of days I decided that I would have Friday tea at Bentham chippy, dined in and enjoyed the service I received along with my fish, chips and mushy peas, it went down a treat and I am very picky about fish and chips. Will definitely be dining there again.
