Food is Good, Meat and potato pies are nowhere near as good as they where when it was Danson's, they are too bland, not enough meat/gravy and the pastry is far too thick and always uncooked inside, Steak pies and Pork pies are very good w0ith plenty of fillings. Sausage rolls are very nice. they should store their bags in a different place though due to them smelling damp.

Called into this shop while walking the Cumbrian Coast Path.
Staff were so friendly and helpful.
I just had a coffee and a piece of Currant Cake and I have to say it was one of the best currant cakes I have ever eaten and I’ve quite a lot of currant cake in my time!
Good coffee too.

Visited yesterday with my daughter, lovely friendly, welcoming staff. Got the chicken ham and leek pie, unfortunately it was bland and needed more seasoning. Meat and potatoe pie was nicer but also needed more seasoning. Sausage bun from the hot counter was great, they make their own bread and sausages. Cakes were standard for the type of bakery, tasty but nothing spectacular.
Not sure on the prices but it was fairly cheap for the amount we bought. 3 cakes, 2 pies and 1 sausage bun, I think it was about £13

Such a lovely little bakery with amazing choices. Friendly staff too. The only suggestion I would make is to put visible prices on the menu and glass cabinets. In such times I was wary what we picked in store however upon paying 3 separate times the prices were so reasonable if they were labelled I feel I would've spent much more.

Friendly and helpful staff, good variety of pastries, pasties and other baked good. Easily accessible with small seating area, very reasonably priced and the products are tasty and filling. Offer some vegetarian options also, would recommend for a quick snack or meal on the move, also good options for a small gathering. Would recommend.

They wear gloves nice blue ones but have you seen that they should get a 1 star rating. They handle money with the same gloves they're handling you're food with. They might as well take them gloves off and wash their hands down the toilet. Disgusting hygiene.

Absolutely disgusting. I want fresh made sandwiches not pre made and wrapped in foil. Sort your heads out. Miserable faces behind the counter. Wears the same gloves when handling food and cash. Minging
