In 2000 I picked up my first two pieces of kayaking kit, Nookie were so local I cycled to collect it. After being supported by a number of kayaking companies over the years, I always came back to Nookie, over the last 5 years the quality of the fit, kit and designs has excelled along with their tea making skills.

I have sent images from around the world of their kit in action, this isn't always in the kayaking world, a lot of their kit is transferable to all manner of adventure sports and trekking.

This no doubt helped me when being hired to shoot Nookie's studio, lifestyle and adventure images more than 15 years after my first purchase.

These guys and gals are the best! Their gear is top notch and their customer service goes above and beyond. I have an Octane drysuit but really don’t get on with latex necks, so I got in touch with them about the possibility of replacing the Octane’s neck with the cinched neoprene neck from their Rush jacket, and after some brainstorming in their production zone, they figured out a way to do it. They sent me a cinched neck to try on, then I sent in my suit, and got it back just a few days later, and it’s exactly what I wanted! What amazing service. These folks are genuinely passionate about producing top quality paddling gear.

Originally ordered a pair of Nookie Pro Bib Dry Trousers Double Waist in XL, unfortunately they were too big for me so I ordered another pair in L.
The XL were simply too long, too much excess material, especially in the legs.
The L are a perfect fit for me, 5ft 10" tall, about 36 ish" (!!!) waist, (maybe a little more just now.....) 44" inch chest, 30" inside leg.

Not had a chance to use them yet, but the feel and quality are excellent, very pleased. The double waist system and a similar set up on my dry cag should work well.

Both items arrived very quickly, I returned the XL item and received a very prompt refund, Thank You Nookie for an excellent service!

Ordered a spray deck from Nookie online. Once my new kayak arrived there were a couple of issues but this was purely down to the kayak itself. Nookie told me all about this before I even mentioned it to them and the support was amazing. I got the chance to upgrade the deck for my boat and I couldn't have been happier. Excellent service! Dan at Nookie was amazing. He made a special effort to get them out same day (as my course was starting soon) and I got them the next day.
I wanted to buy the 3/4 Neoprene strides but was unsure if they would fit because I'd tried another brand and couldn't even get them on because of the restrictive waistband but the Nookie strides are perfect (as they don't have a waistband) and easy to pull on or off and for once they are true to size. They are also quite flattering and sit well. (unusual in anything made of neoprene in my experience)
I'm doing a kayaking course and had already bought a full length long Jane wetsuit, which although great at protecting my knees and shins (especially when doing wet-work & getting back into the kayak) I found it to be really hot when paddling, so I wanted something that would protect my knees but also not be too restrictive or too warm when out in the sun. These are perfect for this. I wish I'd have bought these first.
