I bought an earcuff for £34 and wore once. Went to wear again 8 weeks later and it was totally tarnished- kept in tissue paper and box shop provided. Contacted three times before finally I got a reply saying
‘Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.We’ve been waiting on advice from our sup They’ve had a look at your images and can see that the ear cuff is quite tarnished. They suggested buffing it with a silver cloth and advised Items do tarnish when kept in boxes for long periods. They advised that they did not see this as a fault and will not accept the return I’m afraid. Sorry to disappoint.

That’s just poor customer service and a total waste of my time and money! So. I definitely would not recommend!

A beautiful shop full of beautiful items many locally sourced which is great. The wax melts are amazing, and test pots mean that you can 'smell before you buy' which is really helpful! I've just tried the new addition to the already extensive range, Vanilla, Cedarwood and Sage, and I love it! A great comforting, warm combination, perfect for cold autumn days.

I love your shop, you have lovely things to buy, I like the new addition of plants and your staff are all very pleasant and helpful.
There was just one thing I really didn't like when I was shopping with you recently. Whilst I'm sure your female staff only mean to be pleasant and helpful, as an older customer I really absolutely hate being called "my darling" in every other sentence. It smacks of being in a nursing home and most of my older friends hate it too. Just don't call us anything we would much prefer that, but please please don't call us "my darling "my lover" etc as we've never met you in our lives before and it puts us off coming in.

Having popped in this morning about 11.30 to buy a pair of earrings. I was disheartened to find I could not get my refund some 4 hours later. Was told that it is against policy. To exchange or even give a credit note. This is madness. It was suggested that I come back tomorrow and have a word with the owner.

Purchased a snow globe. The shop failed to tape the polystyrene box up that it came in up, as is normal. Therefore when I tried to pull the tightly packed polystyrene box out of the outside box the snow globe fell out of the bottom and smashed. The customer service, from the owners was lousy. They just kept replying that they would do nothing as it was dropped. They kept ignoring the reason why the snow globe fell.

Further to inside outs reply. Inside out failed to bubble wrap the item. They also failed to tape around the joint between the polystyrene box. As people with experience of getting polystyrene boxes out of cardboard boxes will know they are tight inside. Therefore as I pulled the polystyrene box out of the cardboard box the joint opened, as inside out failed to tape, and the item dropped out. I did not simply drop it. We had shopped many times, at inside out, and this bad customer service has meant we have not shopped there since.
