Legend made both me and my wife's dresses and the experience was so fun and easy right the way through. We could not be more different in both taste and body shape, our dresses were both customised and altered through several fittings to be unique and perfect for us. No detail was too much trouble, and they were also incredibly helpful with pointing us to other suppliers which we were in need of. Beyond that, it was so beautiful to go into a wedding dress shop that's made for people like us, and where we felt right at home from the start. Big love for Rachel and the team <3

Discovered legend bride at til death gothic luxe wedding fair, where they were showcasing all their beautiful dresses, I'd spotted a gent walking around in a custom waist coat, I was told that legend bride had created it, from then the cogs turned and I'd gotten in touch with them. From the beginning till the final reveal Rachel was just as excited about bringing our ideas to life and helping with inspiration. Cannot recommend in legend bride enough. I just need an excuse for another custom waist coat.

Rachel at Legend Bridal was fantastic to work with from start to finish, I was actually really sad when I had my last fitting because we had to say goodbye and going for exciting fittings at the lovely Legend Bridal studios would no longer be part of my routine!

I knew I wanted something a bit different - a wedding dress, but alternative and with bold colours incorporated. I tried on a lot of traditional dresses in shops, which helped narrow down what shapes and styles suited me, but when I then looked into getting one altered and dyed, it was going to cost a lot extra and be quite complicated to do. Actually - getting something designed and made from scratch completely bespoke for me by Legend Bridal ended up costing about the same! So it was a no-brainer really. Working with Rachel meant I was involved in every stage of the design process and there were no compromises at all on what I wanted.

The dress was built a little at a time, so I had a lot of say about how it all came together - which meant that every element was a combination of Rachel’s amazing creative skill and the shapes and colours I had imagined. Rachel was happy to make changes along the way to make it just right (e.g. changing the neckline slightly and altering some of the decoration), so we didn’t stick 100% to the original design - the dress evolved as we went along and it was fitted perfectly to my figure.

On the day, I had so many compliments about how beautiful and original my dress was - and the colours Rachel added underneath (her idea!) looked stunning on all the photos and whenever I lifted my dress to walk around. Because I’d explained about our ‘festival’ / outdoor wedding, Rachel had made a varied hem-length, which meant that the dress looked great when I had my heels on, but also looked right when I kicked them off after the first three hours and spent the rest of the day dancing and celebrating barefoot!

I can’t recommend Rachel and Legend Bridal enough, the dress was a work of art!

I honestly can not recommend this amazing bridal shop enough! The staff are just incredible, on the first appointment they listen to what you like then bring out some dresses and then the magic happens, you go from trying on a dress then the ladies then do there magic and bring out alsorts of material, colours, designs, sparkles and that's it, your in the land of make believe and your dream dress is in the first stages of becoming a reality.....from then on its all about you! Every single detail down to the last sparkle, nothing is too much trouble, and I mean nothing, these ladies are like little fairies that make girls' dreams come true... our daughter gets married tomorrow in the dress of her dreams, and the look on her face when she stepped into it on the final dress fitting was just priceless. The ladies that make and design the dresses are like your best friends by the end and really are miracle workers. If you want a dress that's totally you and not just a dress off the peg then this is the place to go, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
