This was a pick up a few bits shop.

So firstly they have parking. 1*

Secondly it is ground level and wheelchair accessible. 2*

I recall that for a convenience store I did see bread, milk, toiletries, cleaning products ect as for fresh and frozen products I didn't really look so can't comment.

I did pick up an OFFER on tuna. I wasn't going to buy tuna, so always good to get a bargain 3*

The fourth star goes for the young lady at the checkout. 4*

The tuna had two "pricemarks" one which wasn't an offer, and one that was!!
I asked for a price check, and was given one without hesitation and with a lovely smile on her face while doing it.
She helped with my shopping and nothing was too much trouble. ?

One reason why I didn't give five stars besides the fact this was a flying visit, was I wasn't able to purchase an essential item.
"The gluten free selection was on the day I visited quite poor."

No problem with the shopping experience, at all, apart from the staff in the till. I went into the shop, at 10:40am, on the 2/10/2020. The middle aged woman on the till, was the most miserable person that I have seen for a long time. Her customer service skills were terrible, get her retrained!
Furthermore she had a covid mask hanging on her ear, not actually wearing it, all the other staff were though, not a good state affairs. Can someone please tell her, she should be happy, that she has a job.

A very convenient Co-op store just off the main strip going through Rishton. The shop has ample parking with a cash machine and offer most items youll need from stock. Have used them for a while and will continue. Keep up the good work.

What can you say about co-op that's not already been said shame the company is still trading, over priced, miserable staff, no variety, no atmosphere, no local connection. Remember the days the used to hand out warm mince pies when Christmas lights switch on was happening, nothing like the bottom line these days, take as much as you can from the local community and give nothing back. Awful place awful company

Over the last two months there have been four separate occasions where this store has been unable to offer refrigerated food. Apparently when it gets too warm outside, their fridges pack up because apparently it’s 1907 in this part of Rishton. Today was the last straw, another wasted journey to a shop that’s unable to provide, Co-Op ought to reinvest in their stores or else lose customers like myself to Aldi and other brand retailers.
