Hello an a smile costs nothing ! Dreadful atmosphere felt like our order for 2 fish was a hindrance for the woman serving.
The pricey, scabby piece of fish was also full of oil, and had to be thrown away. Lesson learnt, certainly will not be returning.

First time using this chippy, do gluten free fish and chips plus gluten free fishcakes plus a full menu, great prices the lady serving is very polite and efficient, food also very good, we will be back ?

Called in today 23 Dec , very friendly staff and a customer ,we all had a good chat and laugh even though I was a stranger . I ordered a bag of chips for my journey home I was told they won't be long just a few minutes as they were in the fryer. My only regret is I didn't order a bigger bag these chips were fresh ,hot and tasty . Apparently the steak and stilton pie is worth a try and I wish I ordered one . Cost was £2.00 something for a medium bag which was generous the something was because I couldn't believe it started with a 2.

I Used to use a lot as the food is lovely but the last time I ordered a doner kebab there were about 2 slices of donner meat in it . I actually thought it had fallen out of the box but it hadn’t ? 8 quid for flat bread coleslaw and salad ! I wouldn’t mind they have increased the cost of doner meat by alot yet don’t give you any so I’m not sure what you are paying for when you order one. They need to sort it and if they do I will go back as the food is nice but reducing portion sizes to that extent yet charging you over the odds is just not acceptable or fair

Couldn't smell the chippy outside.
Only old oil smell. No queue on a Friday night. No sizzle from wet chips entering the oil, so they were dry. Everything is dark brown (old oil). Fish wasn't white. Curry, peas, and gravy kept warm in plastic containers. Curry fruity. No taste whatsoever with this meal. Just grease. No hairnets or uniforms are worn by the server. Outdoor clothes should not be worn while serving food! Thrown it away. Very disappointing.

I won’t be going here again sadly. Battered sausage was like mush, pie was rock hard and the fish cake was inedible. Shame really as used to visit regularly
