Brought some items here to take back to my family. The apple turnover had no apple or any sort of sauce inside so was thrown away. The Belgian bun was also thrown away as it was very hard around the edge and was stale. The millionaire shortbread seems good. The shop seemed clean and tidy. The chap serving seemed very nice. Maybe it was just a lapse today but 2 out of 3 items not edible is not good enough. Hence the 3-star rating. i won't try again as I have had better elsewhere.

We were there in July 2024 and wanted to eat scones with clotted cream. Unfortunately, the owner was in the process of closing the store. Nevertheless, she let us in and fulfilled our wishes. And it was VERY VERY tasty! She then chatted with us for a while (despite my poor English) and we would like to thank her again for the food and the friendliness!

Lunch coronation chicken baguettes with bacon roll and cheese sandwich all hand made with a smile. Very old school slice of England. You should pop in.

Absolutely spectacular food, always super fresh and yummy. It’s in a really beautiful old school village, the people that work there are really welcoming and friendly. I always have to pop in now every time I drive past!

Went into this wonderful tea rooms over Christmas the staff were wonderful had the most amazing cream tea such a homely feeling in there loved it our friends said it was the best cream tea they ever had thank you weeks we will be back Merry Christmas xx

Easily one of the best bakery's in the world. It's up there with the Two Wells Bakery back home in south Australia. Fantastic staff here and the chorizo sausage roll is always a winner.

Always great friendly service. Nothing is too much trouble. The food looks good and tastes great. We look forward to calling in for lunch when we visit Goudhurst.
