We found this cafe by chance while staying in the area & loved it so much, we went back several times. The cakes are super tasty, with a good selection, including for gluten free. It’s close by the river & the staff are very friendly. Nice teapots. Great atmosphere. Great find. Thorough recommend.

We arrived on a rainy October day. Car parking is very limited in Goring, so worth checking out before visiting.

When we arrived at the cafe, we sat outside (with dog - drink water was available), and despite the rain the seats were dry; the awning was doing it's job.

Inside looked warm and welcoming, but outside was just as inviting. As they do takeaway food, there's a serving window which also services the outdoor seating. Comprehensive menu, with good options - something for everyone, even with dietary requirements. Staff were quiet, but attentive. We placed our order, drinks arrived in about 5 mins and the food arrived just a couple of minutes after. Really speedy considering there were good number of customers in.

Drinks: quality coffee and tea is loose-leaf in a pot.

Food: Impressive. Clearly home made. Very fresh. Very good quality. No Cash & Carry buy-ins here. Someone takes pride in this place and that was noticeable from the food. Portions were spot on.

This is a really sound local cafe in a lovely rural village. It's good to see a business like this thriving. But then when effort is put into the product, it will be successful. Thanks!

Nice looking place with extremely off-hand proprietor. On entry made to feel as if we were imposing on the lady running the place by wanting a table. Taking our order was offhand and when the food eventually arrived it was slammed down in front of us. It was of decidedly average quality and poorly presented. Not inexpensive so one would expect more. The coffee was very good.

When cycling in the area this is my "go to" for a coffee stop. Excellent food, friendly staff and got a real good vibe. Everything on show was nicely presented - yum yum. I saw a customer having a "ginger shot" I think I will give one of these a try next time. Would go again.

Very friendly welcome. Food was fresh and cooked for your order, so small acceptable delay. Portions are good. Deserts are very good with plenty of choice. Excellent Breakfast, coffee break or Lunch venue close to Thames Pathway or Ridgeway.
