A fabulous fish and chip supper tonight, we had a takeaway that stayed crispy and hot till we arrived home, the fish was thick and delicious with a very tasty batter and the chips plentiful and cooked golden brown, not a thing left when we finished, very enjoyable and many thanks to Marcus and thd team for the prompt service. We'll be back soon.

Fresh, hot and very tasty. Excellent. Popped in for first time about 4pm just as it opened. Served straight away with perfectly cooked traditional fish and chip meal. What a gem.

Drove from Hereford to try the food. If I remember rightly, Marcus ( I think his name is) he use to come around the village i lived in as a kid . Food was incredible on his mobile van then and I'm pretty sure he owns and runs this shop now .
Absolutely incredible, better than all the fish and chip shops in Hereford .
Amazing ! This is now our new takeaway favourite. Totally worth the drive . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were on holiday, the food from the Old Stables was amazing, Highly recommend. You can phone in your order or order at the counter ( bring an umbrella as you do not go inside), all freshly cooked but worth every minute of the wait. From Battered fish, steamed fish, steak pie, sausages and chips that were light fluffy and not too greasy..plus lovely staff a perfect experience.. Thank you.

Fantastic fish and chips. Well worth waiting for freshly cooked food. Crispy batter on the fish and nice juicy chips. We always look forward to having our tea from here whenever we are on holiday in the area. Friendly staff, reasonably priced and very welcoming.

The fish and the chips were nice. The batter isn't the best though, and was too hard to cut on the battered sausage. The Chinese curry sauce included bits of chicken, which wasn't pointed out. Overall slightly disappointed.
