Excellent new build cafe on Farndon High Street in the middle of the Cheshire village of Farndon. Light and airy inside with comfortable seats with views of the High Street. Just outside is the bus stop to Chester / Wrexham. I paid by card.

I have visited Lewis’ a couple times last year and always been very happy with the food and service. Met my mum there this morning for coffee and thought this would be all I was having after deciding to do veganuary. Very pleasantly surprised to find that they had some vegan cake options, so I had some of their vegan carrot cake. The tastiest cake I have had in a long time. Very satisfied. Service was brill as always, the ladies that work in there are always warm and welcoming. Thank you 🙂

What a lovely little coffee shop! Thought I’d call in just for a coffee after taking a few photos of the extremely swollen River Dee! Ended up having some real ‘comfort food’, something I’d not had for some years. Baked potato with baked beans ?. Great presentation with mixed salad and tortilla chips. I then heard a member of staff mentioning to another customer, vegan and gluten free ? so I had to enquire, absolutely delicious chocolate brownie with raspberries ?

Sunday Morning Full English. Cafe Open at 9.45am serving drinks but NO food until 10am. Food was slow at 10.25am we decided to eat inside due to front balcony swamped with cyclists. We were told we couldn’t eat inside with our Frenchie Bulldog, even though no customers inside. It was recommended that we sit in the rear car park! I said NO and we had no choice but to take our breakfast home? Disappointing. Insulting. Never Again!
