This is the official supplier for my children's secondary school uniform. Staff are very helpful and friendly even embroidering a t-shirt while I waited because they didn't have what I needed on the shelf.
They're happy to advise on items and also allowed my daughter to try various items on to ensure a good fit despite being busy. Prices are good too and items I bought are washing and wearing well.

Well stocked shop, 3 changing rooms, very helpful staff. This was our first trip to this shop. We previously purchased our uniform from other uniform merchant in York and it has always been an horrendous experience. When NextGen/SchoolShop offered appointments via the school, we booked as I could not face another sessions with the other shop. And what a difference! I can't believe it took me this long to come to Elvington, I wish I'd known sooner!

We were looked after by Tilly and I really mean it. With two sets of uniforms to buy, Tilly was super patient and helpful, always a smile on her face. As a Fulford student, she knew what uniform we needed, she recommended sizes spot on, she brought things for both children to try on, nothing was too much for her. She is a credit to the shop and has restored my faith in 'customer service'. We found all we needed and enjoyed the experience! Also, we were quite reassured that, if sizing is changing between now and September, we can exchange at any time. Thank you Tilly, you were amazing and made our day! I would not think twice in the future about going to Elvington for any uniform needs. Yes, it is a bit out of town but so very much worth the effort.

After leaving everything a bit last minute to sort out the school uniforms, I emailed for there opening times and received a response within an hour. We decided to take a trip in to the shop as we needed to try on for sizing and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, could not fault them at all. They took our order for uniform for two different schools and embroidered everything while we waited. I’ve also had a very good experience ordering online in previous years as well!

My son has just received his school leavers hoodie and I want to thank the staff involved for their great customer service. I was unsure which size to order, and after sending a query via email, I received a phone call that talked me through the sizing options available. As a result my son has a perfect fitting hoodie, so thank you!

I have been dealing with this company for a while as it supplied the uniforms for my children's primary school and their now secondary. I never found them pleasant or helpful. There are always long queues and the staff are bordering on rude. The school skirts they provide are not particularly good quality. I am not sure why our school is using them. I only buy school skirts and jumpers from them as I have no other choice and the whole experience makes me feel frustrated and furious!

Terrible service for both my children, from Knayton and Thirsk senior school. The quality is nothing like the previous suppliers . The staff are rude and rarely reply to emails the phone number which used to be practically impossible to get through on is now not even working but still on the website!! I have reported now to trading standards and will be launching a petition for both schools ( due to the large amount of disgruntled parents) to change supplier. I’m not sure why we couldn’t stay with emblazon who were a local reliable company

Ordered a school leavers hoodie for my son on 8th May. Website says to allow upto 3 weeks for delivery during peak times. My son still hasn't received his hoodie which is now over 3 weeks since the order was placed and he has now left school. (Friday 28th May).

My emails haven't been replied to by the company and nobody is answering the phone. Appalling service. I need to charge back from the bank as I have paid for a service and received absolutely nothing, Not even customer service!
