My son bought a vintage Seiko watch to wear at his wedding. It turned out not to be working. I took it to many watch repairers, only to be told that none of them repaired vintage Seiko watches and could not get the parts. Then I saw W F Bruce and Comber on Google and gave it one last try. After a lovely, relaxing 10 minute wait in the beautiful showroom, I had the watch was returned to me in perfect working order. Lovely people who are incredibly skilled. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Anyone with even a passing interest in horology should visit this showroom. It provides a fascinating insight into antique clocks and their makers, particularly fine English clocks. I have purchased a number of very good examples over a period of many years and have never been disappointed. Bill's knowledge and skills are second to none in my opinion. Refurbishment, servicing and repairs are carried out in house to an exceptionally high standard. Work at this level of quality and precision takes time, so be patient, the outcome will be worth the wait. Bill recently repaired a clock that I had purchased elsewhere. I thought it was a write-off but it has been returned in pristine working condition and at very reasonable cost. Highly recommended.

Popped into WF Bruce Antiques this morning to ask for some advice about a clock of mine. They were so helpful with regards to my clock repair, even though it was not an antique clock! They even gave me the details of where and what part I needed to buy to repair it. Great customer service and highly recommend this place.

REALLY friendly and helpful people. They are highly skilled and will make needed parts when not commercially available. Just what you need to keep old clicks and watches working into the future. If I had to find a ‘negative’ it would be they sometimes take a while to get back to you. However I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for advice, repairs, or purchases.

So sorry to be the only bad review, but tried hard to get TWO clocks refurbished, but having only seen photos, he didn't return calls or emails and I have since had the two clocks, valued at £2500 accepted elsewhere.
