Sad and hardly nothing in there. Also, take an umbrella as the glass roof leaks. The council has run the town into the ground, putting up rents,and independent shops can't compete. There are nice pubs there and cafes. But that's it.

A couple of lovely shops, who I try to support but they are being let down. It used to be great. Centre is in decline, poor management and poor maintenance has led to areas being fenced off, a broken glass roof that is apparently not fine to sit under but fine to walk under!?! And a complicated expensive parking system.

The Market Place isn’t quite the Mall of America or the Dubai Mall, but it is an awesome part of Burgess Hill. Park at Waitrose and spend a bit to get the parking free, or park a little further away on street at Church Road, Crescent Road or Cyprus Road for free parking for an hour or more.
Don’t forget the smaller shops here, lovely jewellery and small gift ideas.
They also have clean public toilets on the first floor, with a lift

Went there as a service engineer to fix items in a shop and ended up with a pcn fine from the ripoff scourge parking company. Caused by their machines crashing online and their one way system out of the carpark blocked by poorly managed roadworks causing me to overstay my presence in the carpark according to their anpr cameras. Appeal refused. I will refuse to work there again

Good place to shop.. but not great maintenance of the shopping complex. Water leak from ceiling during rains.. Businesses are closing down every year.

Unfortunately it needs more shops. Otherwise it's pretty.Clean and has toilet facilities, lifts and stairs.

My husband got a £60 fine not happy . Not clear parking sign ! Avoid as it’s a total rip off car park , no wonder there’s plenty of spaces to park !!!!!
